The Select Photographers Photo Contest Is Open For Entries!

The Envision Kindness Select Photographers Program was created for talented and compassionate photographers who have a deep interest in helping others experience more kindness and happiness.

For this photo contest, we are especially interested in seeing images that show:

~ Peace and community ~
~ Bridging divides ~

We are also open to other types of kindness images. Please click here for a guide to many types of kindness images to help inspire you, including examples! We accept many types of photography, including studio, documentary, or street photography. Conceptual and symbolic photographs are welcome. AI photography and AI-modified images will not be accepted. 

Every accepted image will receive an honorarium of $100 USD (see below for details). Of these, three of the most outstanding images will be displayed on our website and newsletter, published in a prestigious photography publication, and awarded an additional monetary prize of $200 USD.

*This is a Select Photographers-only photography contest. Only photographers who have been invited to be members of the program and have already received their Select Photographer ID number are eligible to submit photographs for consideration.

Important:

-You must be 18 years of age or older to submit photographs. 

-Submitted images will be compensated according to US law: Please note that US law prohibits us from sending funds to certain countries, including Iran, Russia or Belarus. Entrants from those countries will be recognized for their contributions, but we are unable to monetarily compensate individuals from these nations at this time. We recognize that there are many kind people in those countries as there are in all others. Any honorarium of photographers from these countries (or if we are unable to award an individual due to other government regulations) will be awarded to an international charity that promotes peace and bridging divides.

The Process

 

Image Submissions

Select Photographers who have been given a Select Photographer ID number can submit photos through the link on this page by the contest deadline. For this contest, up to five image submissions are allowed per person. 

Image Selection for participation in Contest

Next, our staff members will choose which submissions to accept for participation in the contest. All images that are accepted at this stage will receive an honorarium of $100 USD (payments will be made after the contest finishes). 

Judging

A panel of judges and/or staff members will choose three award winning photos from the pool of accepted images. The award winning photographers will receive an honorarium of $200 USD in addition to the $100 USD honorarium they've already been given, and the contest results will be announced in a photography publication or prominent media outlet.

Do you believe the world can be a kinder place?

It can, through your photography. We know that after people see images of kindness, they are kinder, happier, more optimistic, and more generous. 

Envision Kindness  is a non-profit that inspires kindness, compassion, joy, and love through still and video photography. We share the best images to inspire people wherever they are. Some images become part of inspiring videos for EnSpire. EnSpire is a collection of short videos that include images of kindness and caring and are displayed in high stress environments like healthcare. We may also use the images in other videos and media formats.
