Details to keep in mind:

• The description is an important part of your submission! Where it was taken, what is going on in the image, who the people are and your thoughts on what about kindness or compassion it reflects.
• Submissions open September 1, 2026 and close September 30, 2026 at 11:59 pm ET.
• Each photographer can submit up to 5 photos.
• Submissions should be jpg files with at least 2000 pixels on long dimension at 200 dpi (3000 pixels at 300 dpi preferred) and between 1-10MB file size.
• The contest is free to enter.

What happens after you submit (in order):

• 1. After submissions close at the end of September, the Envision Kindness team will decide which photographs to accept into the contest. You will receive an automated email notifying you whether your photographs have been accepted. 
• 2. The Envision Kindness team will choose three outstanding images to award prizes to. Award-winning photographers will be notified by email. 
• 3. The three award-winning images will be announced on our website, social media, and in a photography publication. 
• 4. The Envision Kindness team will email all photographers whose photographs were accepted into the contest, and gather payment information. 
• 5. Payments will be sent to photographers with accepted images, and to the three award winners. This process may take about a month after payment information is gathered.
